Dear PDL devs,
Further to my proposed workflow going forwards (as discussed on #pdl), I have
done the following with longlong-double-fix:
* rebased it onto current master
* moved through the commits, finding at which points it builds and passes tests
* decided to break into two major portions, parts 1 and 2
Part 1 is now in the repo’s “lldfp1” branch. You can review it using either
command line tools, or look on the github mirror:
https://github.com/PDLPorters/pdl/compare/lldfp1?expand=1 (click on the “Files
changed” tab).
Main characteristics of this set of changes:
* Fix typos including propogate –> propagate
* replace uses of “double” with “PDL_Anyval”
* adding a some explanatory comments
* deleting: foomethod, progenitor, future_me and living_for and family stuff
* deleting DEBUG_SETAV_TYPE stuff
* updates $pdl_core_version to 11
* some C compile warning suppression
* delete oneslice
Once someone has said they think this is good stuff, I will merge it into
master, and look harder at the remaining commits.
Best regards,
Ed
