Subject: CPAN obsolete version of PDL
Hi Karl and Christian,
Thanks for your past efforts on PDL, which is amazing.
As you can see on https://metacpan.org/release/PDL and clicking on “PDL-2.007”
(after “Chris Marshall / ”), CPAN / PAUSE still has 3 old version of PDL from
each of you. Why is that an issue? If I go “cpanm --dev PDL”, trying to get the
latest dev release of PDL, it instead tries to get version 2.2, which isn’t
what I wanted.
If you delete them from PAUSE, they will still be safely available in the
BackPAN (but not cause the above problem). Therefore, could I please ask you
both to delete them?
