Hi Zaki- The remaining issue before a CPAN visible PDL::Core split is that we have a working, stable PDL release for the PDL community to fall back on. Right now, there is a critical problem reported in
http://sourceforge.net/p/pdl/bugs/390/ which is a show stopper for me as it leads to confusing and broken PDL behavior for things that have been working for a while now. Are you seeing the same behavior on your systems or had any luck tracking down the problem? I've been pretty tied up this past week but I hope to get a test added to the master to track the problem by this evening and will update the ticket with any further progress.
