All- With the release of PDL-2.013_03 today, it appears that the remaining critical issues with long double perls have been addressed. Although there are a number of CPAN Testers FAIL reports that can be fixed, there appear to be no blockers for a PDL-2.014 release next Monday, 12-Oct-2015.
I would ask folks to download and test this latest CPAN developers release ( CHM/PDL-2.013_03.tar.gz ) on their platforms. Also, if you have PDL based distributions, please verify that they build and run with this latest PDL. This release finishes the 64bit index support and the known issues. While there may be some further additions to the PDL release, if nothing else makes it in this will still be a release of which we can be proud. Also, now is the time to add those fixes and additions to the PDL documentation.
