Hi Luis- There is a problem with PDL-2.009 involving the PLplot cleanup that broke the release.
Please use PDL-2.008 or the latest CPAN developers release, CHM/PDL-2.009_01.tar.gz . You'll need to install PDL::Graphics::PLplot from its own distribution on CPAN. Assuming everything continues to check out, PDL-2.009_01 will be released as PDL-2.010 within the next couple of days. NOTE: PDL-2.008 and later PDL releases in the past week are essentially identical with the succeeding versions from fixes to some minor issues.
