To install a version of PDL other than the latest, e.g. for 2.082: cpanm PDL@2.082
The TriD modules and demo are still supplied, and should still work. If you can tell us what happens when you run “perl Makefile.PL” at the top level of the latest PDL, that would help. You’ll need not only OpenGL, but now also OpenGL::GLUT, for the POGL stuff to work.
