The 35-80 and 28-70 Zooms are popular and will autofocus with your camera. If you have the 35-80 already and want wider, then you will want a 28mm or wider. There are a few list members here who offered me SMC-M and one SMC-A 28mm lens when I asked for one last month, which I did buy from a fellow list member just before Christmas. Some of them may still be available. Just ask again. Consider looking at 3rd party 24mm or even wider, if you are go wide, go as wide as you can! I have a Vivitar 21mm and Quantaray 24mm I use sometimes. The 21mm grabs a lot of scenery! I just acquired a fish-eye lens adapter, that when mounted on a 28mm, give almost a 180 degree round view!
