Rob's dead on the money: C-41 (also known as colour negative) is pretty
hard to mess up, and even if it does get messed up, most problems can be
corrected with printing.
What you need to find is a nice, clean, careful lab.  If they take the
time to make sure that your negs are dust and fingerprint free and
properly cut them, chances are their C-41 will be fine.  Alot of this
depends on the people in the lab itself; Wal-Mart labs are every bit as
capable as a "pro" lab, the big variable being the people doing the work.

Find people you can trust and you're set.
