When I first set up the list, I had it set to do just that, bounce the messages which included words that could be majordomo commands to me, but changed it soon after. As to why some people's messages don't get through at times, I have a front row seat for that: most times it's because somewhere along a line a box goes down so the pipeline is interrupted. For instance, tonight something blew up at home.com (something I'm sure would not surprise JoMac), so everything going to there bounced back. I assume anything coming out of there also went into limbo. That particular glitch affected a number of list members, like Len Paris and Ken Takeshita. I have the message limit size set relatively small too, so largish messages-- big attachments, for instance-- get bounced as well. This is not to say big text messages won't make it through the net; they'll more than likely show up. Just don't stick a big binary file on the end and expect to see it.
