I hope you find the battery pack more use than I have. I bought one because I
thought it was a must have, but then I figured out that (like the old add on winders
of years past) the camera
wouldn't fit in my case. I also notice that the
really expensive batteries actually lasted a very long time if I didn't use the
built in flash (the zx-m doesn't even have such a flash), so my battery pack
has been waiting for a year for me to get around to put batteries in it.
