It seems to me that most people on this list are gracious if the criticism leveled at their work is meaningful. Last month, someone posted an alternate cropping of the ballon picture, and the suggestion was well-received by the original photographer. This month, someone suggested I should have cropped my photo differently, and I was genuinely appreciative, both of the comment and of the time the person making it had spent looking at my work and formulating even that brief critique. Let's face it - photographs will be viewed, and all genuine and reasoned feedback is helpful. Having said that, it is also clear that this little troll is just out to be a thorn in our collective and figurative side. The intent behind the comments mailed out is clearly not meant in any productive way, and thus carry less than no weight at all. This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
