If it helps, I had to sell a K2 DMD with drive and battery grip, an A*85 mm f:1.4, and
a trunk load of Spotmatics and
lenses (save my original beater), K-1000, K-1000 SE, and my Bronica S-2 dreck to pay
for the second and third kit and an
FA*85 mm f:1.4.

Thank you, Bob, but:

Tried all settings on both battery pack and drive, including sweeping the speed dial
from H to L in 'C'.

Cleaned all contacts with chemicals and applied Cramolin for better conductivity and
anti-corrosion.

When I press the shutter release, the red light comes on and stay on as long as I'm
pressing. So circuit is being made.
And as I said the motor whirrs away in Rewind mode with battery or external power.

Any other ideas, anybody? I hate to take them apart cold turkey (springs spring out
into the deep pile gray carpet), and
I'd hate to send them to Pentax ($$$$) to have them do something simple to unlock them.
