Hi, Len. Just a couple of points:
(1) If you don't want to read off-topic digital posts, why not filter out
headers that have "OT" and/or "digital" in them? This thread seems to
have both.
(2) How is this not Pentax related? Pentax makes digital cameras. If
someone asked "I want a camera for news photography with these
features; what price range would I be looking in?" then we would either
help them out, or suggest some Pentax models that might fit the bill. Why
not do the same with digital? This certainly seems more on-topic than
threads about film, tripods, filters, etc.
