Hi everybody,
I've recently jump into the 6x7 world with a nice Pentax 6x7 MLU camera.
It is almost mint except for the x-sync terminal which is broken: it seems
that the central part of the terminal has been hit when a cable was in it...
now there is a hole where once was the sync terminal. The outside ring is
still there and so is the FP-sync terminal.
I suppose that the metal lamella now visible provides the contact.
My questions:
1) There is a relatively easy way to replace the broken terminal?
2) Is it possible to unscrew the terminals and replace the broken one with the
FP one?
3) Can it be made without opening the body?
Note that the two tiny notches on the outside ring of the broken terminal are
in a pretty bad shape, as somebody tried to unscrew it without any care.
Thanks in advance
Gianfranco
