I got my prints back from the shop today and I have to say that I'm quite
impressed with the quality of the 28-70 f4 lense. Sharp, clean images
shooting on ISO 400 film with external flash alongside error-free metering
by the PZ-1p.
However, this is the first time I've really noticed since I was shooting
quite close up was that the prints and the negatives sometimes don't quite
match up with bits and pieces getting cut off; seems that the prints
generally were made starting from the left side of the negative with the
right side getting cropped which is a problem is you shoot vertical with the
grip strap on the bottom...
I'll see when I can squeeze out some time for some scanning, but there is
still a large difference between shooting on real film and digital images
generated with a consumer-level digicam!
Cheers,
Jeff
