Have you looked at the Agfa Duoscan T1200? That'll do 1200dpi with
anything up to 8x10, both print and transparency, and is priced very
reasonably. I don't know how well it stacks up against other MF scanners
though.
I'm wanting to buy a medium/large-format scanner sometime in the future
and the T1200 is the first one I'll look at.
