Hi Wieland
I too like manual focus, which is why I have a ZX-M. But I use a Pentax FA
50mm f1.4 lens on it. (Autofocus. And my only lens for the ZX-M, so far.)
When comparing the focusing action of this lens to my 25 year old Canon FD
50mm 1.8, IMO this new AF lens manually focuses more accurately, and does it
quicker and smoother.
This is not to say that I won't also buy manual focus (only) lenses, but I
like the idea of having the full AF capability in case I ever do get an AF
ZX camera. Also, only the Pentax "F" and "FA" autofocus lenses have the
ability to give full readouts of both shutter and aperture settings in the
ZX cameras' viewfinders, which is an option I fully enjoy...

I think the FA*
