HI all: I'm out of black and white 35 mm film . I shot several hundred rolls of film last year. Now I want to buy it in 100 foot spools. I'd like the learned opinion of my friends here on what film to invest in. I shoot 75% landscapes, scenics, architectural, outdoor stuff, static subjects. The rest is portraits. Half indoor, half out. I use hot lights indoor (until I can justify monolights) I sepia tone most of the portraits, and alot of them get hand-colored too. I'd like to buy one spool of 100 ISO film, and one spool of 400 ISO film. (I usually rate my tri x at 320, and sometimes the delta and Tmax 400 stuff at 320 too.) Sometimes I've used Afga's 25 ISO film, and I really like it. I've tried rating Tmax 100 at 50 to duplicate the Afga, but it seems to look better at 100. I use a condenser enlarger, and I print on glossy RC, except the infrareds and others that I intend to tone or hand color. Then I change to matte surface fiber base. I know opinions are like ****holes, everyone has one, but I value and seriously consider what I've heard here on these pages. Therefore, I ask you brethren (that includes sistren too): Based on my subject matter, and my darkroom habits and materials, what should I buy?
