Rubbing alcohol is a residual product, so it is not really
good.. Traditional film cleaner is trichlorothane (methyl
chloroform). Most of the wonder products are repackaged simple
stuff. Acetone works just fine as a film cleaner. If you look at
the ingredients in PEC-12, it's the only one listed.
