Hi! I am new to the list. My compliments to everyone here; the level of
discussion seems a lot more intelligent than some of the NG's I've visited
(I know, I know, you never really know someone until you've lived with them
a while <G>).
I'm not a professional; I shoot slides (Elite or E100) of flowers,
landscapes, travel, especially interested in macro. I use a PZ-1, a 500FTZ,
Sigmas 17-35/2.8 EX, 28-70/2.8 EX, 105/2.8 EX, in the market for 70-210 and
a 300.
Anyway, two questions: there doesn't seem to be any paranoia about spammers
scanning your email addresses; isn't it a possibility, especially with the
archives on html?
And, I've researched flash compensation for the PZ-1; it doesn't have it.
Does anyone know a way to "fool" the PZ-1 (or any
non-auto-flash-compensating camera) into reducing the amount of flash while
retaining the ambient light without resorting to manual mode, figuring out
the guide number, etc.
Thanks,
Dan T
