* Sure, but it has to do with economy. Here, tihnking in buying a brand-new SLR
is surrealistic. In fact, this is why (feeling lucky for it now) I entered
Pentax world. I wanted an inexpensive slr, and I found a K1000 for 300 bucks.
The rest is history (MX and LX now).
Of the modern af slr's you can buy a MZ-50 with 35-80 terror-zoom for 600 or a
horrible Eos Rebel for 500. 5n don't exists, and the only Z1p I saw was at
Pentax local headquarters for exhibition.
Quality always costs, and most people have other priorities.
