I think that this is the first time I've heard of Pentax
lenses having aspheric elements. Mike's right in that
mentioning something like this earns points in the eyes of
most consumers. Many (most?) consumers like buzz words and
neat "features", perhaps so they can play one-upsmanship games
with neighbors and friends, perhaps because it's felt that
these features have real value ...
Perhaps Pentax needs to hire an outside marketing consultant
in order to get ideas on how to promote their products.
Pentax makes good cameras, and has some good - and some great
-lenses.
