P.S.: but seriously, I love the little aperture readout window on the DMD,
as well as the AE-lock. But both are very fine cameras, I would say
"cheaper LX"... they were Pentax's first K mount pro bodies, and it's easy
to see it and like them. And the nice brassing on my black version ;)
Although not worth a collector, it just makes people with plastic cameras
(Canons 300, Pentax MZ-50, etc...) GREEN WITH ENVY how good it looks, black
with brassed edges. Until they feel the weight, that is ;) I tried once a
K2DMD (0.75kg?) with bracket and big Sunpak flash (0.8kg) & battery pack
(0.6 kg) and a 180/2.8 lens (1.3kg with hood) ... Better than going to the
gym! I actually had to shoot with such a kit once, in a crowd...
