Ok. Understand most of what was in the previous responses about pushing film. Thanks! One thing not addressed tho- (Hope this is not too dumb a question...) I don't do my own developing. So can I ask a lab to push separate frames? Say like, "Mr. lab please develop all of this roll at it's base ISO of 800, but push frames no.'s 14 and 16 to ISO 3200 because I changed my camera's settings for those frames"?? (Because if I ask them to push a whole roll 2 stops for only one or two pictures starting at frame #14, I will of course ruin the previous 13 pictures, right?) And can a lab be depended upon to get this right, and, (if they do do such things), do they charge more for 'custom' developments like this? (Dum-de-do-do-do....)
