Hi Mafud,
Welcome back! Hope all is well.
Just want to make sure you don`t discount a Spotmatic or Spotmatic II
because it came with a 1.35V mercury battery. They work fine with a 1.5V
alkaline, which are readily available, and metering is almost unaffected by
the .15 voltage increase.
One other thing to consider with the Spotmatic is stray sunlight in the
viewfinder,
a little won`t hurt, but get a good eyecup, because you can see the meter
rise
when you pull your face away from the viewfinder if too much light gets in.
Let us know your final decision.
