I agree. Photographers (slide shooter's mostly) speak about "grain" in prints
but as you suggest, they oft times view 11 x 14 and larger prints at little
more than arm's distance. An 11 x 14 and larger print should be viewed from
the center of a large room, not less than three meters distance.
