I don't know if it has anything to do with the thread either,
but I love the story.
It reminds me of a darkroom experience I had many years ago.  I
had to get six 11x14 prints ready for an exhibition which was to
take place in a few days. I went to the studio and into the
darkroom, and started printing, and listening to the radio. I
was really into the music and the printing.

After a while there was a pounding on the studio door.  When I
answered it, I found my roommate standing there.  He and some
friends were concerned because no one had seen me for two days
...
