The real ones say "Pentax" on top and "Japan" on the bottom,
or"Asahi Pentax" on top and "Japan" on the bottom" (I have two
genuine Pentax ones, don't ask why, I think one came with a
"Ghostless" UV filter). You have an imitation cheap junk one. If
you think it looks nice, you should see the real McCoy.
As a closet LPE, I would say you now have a valid reason to go
out and buy some lenses. It is important to justify every piece
of equipment we own, and you now have something that cannot be
used until you purchase more equipment. You MUST justify
ownership of the adaptor.
