That's very true, and also universal accross countries ;(

When I was doing only traditional B&W films, I got somewhere one roll of
TMY TMAX 400. Not knowing if development in Rodinal or ID11 would give it
comfort, I took it to a pro lab (of a CTK - national AP-like picture
agency). I gave it to them to be souped in TMAX RS. The grain was even
WORSE than old FOMAPAN400 developed in RODINAL!

I second you - never again ;( If I want development convenience from than -
I just buy some XP2 super or TMAX CN c41 films.
