Yep, i use it with my 55/f3.5 (for 6x7) all the time.  At f16, from 2m
to infinity is in focus, although the extremes aren't too sharp and
I'd normally to use f22 and the f16 scale on the lens.  Luckily, the
6x7 lenses have very nice depth of field scales.

It's also good for photographing a hyperactive baby who never sits
still long enough for critical narrow focus.
