On the subject of the SMC-A 50/1.7, I tell you what! Having grown
accustomed to the short throw of my FA 35/2, it takes a painfully
lllooonnngggg time to go from near to far with an A 50/1.7.
Btw, the upside of today's excitement: I do my graphics and web viewing on
a 6-plus years-old, NEC multisync and was wondering if its age warranted
retirement. But now, in light of today's brief-lived excitement, I can see
it's got some legs left. ;-)
