Do the features match what was shown on the prototype at photokina?
eg what is the flash sync speed?
Rumour is that they upgraded the spec since then but nobody knows in what
way!!
$900 equating to £600ish would put it on my list. Just lately we seemed to
be talking £1000 upwards which would probably have pushed me towards a
second hand Z1P instead!!

The february issue of the italian magazine "Fotografia Reflex" showed the

first official apparition of the MZ-S.
The article (accompanied by an unpublished picture of a black MZ-S showed

a lens that seems a 28-70/4 AL) says that the MZ-S should reach the market

the end of april and that it "inaugurates a new generation of cameras of the
japanese producer."
The article describes the features of the body and then says that it "should
cost something like 1,9 millions of liras body only" which means around 900
USD.
About the digital version, the article states that we should wait until
september to put the hands on it.
