Well, on the subject of Usenet since I have been forwarding stuff of
interest to the list from there for a while, maybe I can say a few things.
First, there has been quite a decline in the number of postings there, even
the last few months the number has gone down a lot.  I haven't forwarded
much here in the last few weeks.  Also, many of the posts (1/3 to 1/2 I'd
say) are simply pointers to auctions, which I don't forward.  These posts
seem to annoy some of the regulars there, but since they are allowed in the
charter there isn't much they can do about them.
