I recently got a SMC-M 28mm F3.5 lens fixed that had the same problem - the
repair cost was $45.  Just something to think about.  Any where is this
pawn shop?  The ones around here have nothing but overpriced junk.  The
last time I went into the one closest to where I live they had a Sears
KS1000 for $200.  Uh huh.
