O. Winston Link ws found dead in his car on January 30 outside
a Metro-North train station in Katonah, NY. He was 86yo.

We recently discussed him and his work on this list. I, for
one, am saddened by his passing, but joyful that he left us with
some marvelous images and photographs. For those not familiar
with Link, he was known for photographing steam locomotives in
the '50s and '60s. Mostly night photos, he used a variety of
arrays of flash
bulbs with miles of wire in the days before flash slaves. He
was quite talented and skillful.
