The one time I tried it on mine it seemed to work.  I don't think that
the dial is in fixed steps.

Yeah, the meter is only so sensitive.  It was one of the few things I
disliked about my now retired ME Super.  Then again, most of the time I
used a hand meter anyways, so it wasn't really a problem for me.

Anyone know what a winder ME II is worth nowadays?
