Hi Eduardo The following values are from FotoMagazin tests. The Tokina zoom AT-X AF PRO 20-35mm is rated 8.6 (optics) And it's still very expensive (1000$). The Voigtländer 19-35mm is rated the same, but cost just one quarter (250$). Sigma 17-35mm EX AF is rated 8.4 and costs 775$. Pentax FA20-35mm/4.0  is rated 9.6 and cost 650$. (compared with - Nikkor AF D 3.5-4.5 /18-35mm is rated 9.0 at 700$). I don't know about Phoenix. IMO Pentax (or Voigtländer)  gives you the best value for money in this focal range. Best Regards Jens
