Developer makes a big difference in film choice. What developer are you
(or the lab that you're going to) using? I've been having great results
of late with Delta 100 and Delta 3200 in Agfa Studional. My one roll of
Delta 400 I was pushing it to 800 and I was kind of underwhelmed by my
results, but, after all, it was my first try, so I intend to tweak a bit
this time around.

Coming from HP5 and FP4, you'll notice that the grain of the Delta film
family is quite different; they're one of them T-grain films, and while
I've always disliked Kodak T-Max and was prepared to dismiss Delta based
on that, I've been really quite knocked out by the 100 and 3200.

I've heard bad things about Delta 3200 in T-Max developer, so if you (or
your lab) are using T-Max, I'd avoid this film.

Anyhow, let us know about the developer, and we can make some specific
recommendations. :)
