Regarding the prototype digital SLR

Why does it have to be so big? We know it cant be a power drive so is that
an enormous battery pack on the bottom?

I think digital will be great when the cameras offer the same creative
options as film cameras - but to me handling is oh so important and I
absolutely hated my SFXn because of its bulk and ponderous focussing. The
MZ/ZXs redressed that when they handled as nicely as the ME Super.

Otherwise it looks very much like the MZS.

PS - has anyone published any figures in terms of effective "megapixel"
resolution of various films.

PPS - I read a couple of years ago about someone working on a "digital film"
for fitting in any 35mm camera - does anyone know what happened to that?
Perhaps the power requirements killed it off. Alternatively what about a
digital back?
