Amen, Doug. It strikes me as rather bizarre that so many would whine about this camera 
on the basis of published specs. It obviously has some strong pluses, and if build 
quality and feel are anything close to that LX benchmark that Pentax cites, this may 
well be my first autofocus camera.
   By the way, Chrysler still makes the Grand Cherokee. The Cherokee was discontinued 
because it was replaced by a new model. Paul

The "I" part of "we" does not feel compelled to be disappointed with Pentax at all. 
What I feel compelled to do is hold the MZ-S in my hands, use it to make some photos, 
and then decide where it will fit in my photographic world.
