While I will admit that there could occasionally be some appropriate photographic reference to these topics in the PDML, I'm going to go out on a limb and naively suggest that any thread (with spinoffs) that discusses Mel Gibson, the Enigma Machine, D-Day, Braveheart, Oliver Stone, John Kennedy, UFO's, God, "the government", Scottish history, whether "all men are created equal" or whether "all men are equal", Americans as a group, propaganda, W.W. II, DuPont Chemicals, General Motors, the Krupp Works, "the international corporate mantra", "Remember the Alamo!", the Nazis, Ford Motor Company, Henry Ford, Hitler, the US Revolution, British history, French and German mercenaries, Ben Franklin, the "Founding Fathers", the Haitian Revolution, American automobile production, the attack on Pearl Harbor, the Canadian government, Jewish refugees, "transcendental Truth in history", Willys Jeeps, the "underbelly of the 'corporate ethos'", the "national pastime of the European nobility", W.W.I, the French Foreign Legion, publications "for the publics good", artillery shell proximity fuses, Bayer Chemicals, "the so-called Zionist conspiracy", the invasion of Czechoslovakia, C-SPAN, Pacifica, the BBC, and PBS radio just might be a wee bit inappropriate for the PDML. I am not trying to say that these topics are not worth discussing. Rather, I am suggesting that this should not be the forum for discussing them. But, what do I know...
