I wonder if I might make a gentle general suggestion at this point...

Just because the MZ-S specs have finally surfaced, I think we should
remember that very few people--certainly very few of us--have actually held
one in their hands and looked through it; and, remember that it takes more
than holding a camera and looking through it to know what the camera is
really all about.

Over many years of reviewing cameras professionally for various magazines in
the U.S. and Great Britain, one thing I've learned is to "never
assume"--never assume, that is, that you can draw truly valid conclusions
about any camera in advance of using it.

I'm not calling anyone to task, and I don't mind reading the MZ-S
discussion. In fact, I'm enjoying it, and of course I've contributed to it.
So please don't anyone take any offense from this. However, I just think a
word in favor of conservatism may be in order here. It may be best to
reserve some of these judgments we're tossing around until more of us
actually see and use the new MZ-S.
