Hence the idea of the LX2000: make the same camera a collector's edition,
then charge what it really costs to produce it!
Now that Pentax claims that the MZ-S offers the build of the LX, maybe they
will stop producing the LX. Or maybe, if there is a flagship, the flagship
will offer all features of the LX, and THEN they will stop producing the
LX.
