To expand slightly, it has to do with the Pentaxes not having
interchangeable backs.  On the 67 you have to replace the whole back
door to do Polaroids, and on the 645, optics are needed because the
Polaroid film is physically larger than the space available at the film plane.

Since I don't tend to shoot Polaroids, this doesn't bug me, but it is
seen by many as downfall of Pentax medium format.
