Nope, never driven to Europe (haven't had a chance to journey there). The posted speed limit in California varies from 55-65mph (approx. 105km/hr). Portions of I-5 may be posted up to 75mph. During the day driving over 90mph may well earn you a ticket. Although driving in the dead of night, I'm told some people go *much* faster.
