I also got to take a quick hands on with the MZ-S yesterday.  Didn't spend
much time with it but I was impressed.  As far as the continuing thread on
the metal content, I quote from the Pentax brochure: "The major components
of the MZ-S's body housing, such as top, bottom and front panels and a flash
section, are made of magnesium diecast material.  As a result, the MZ-S
offers outstanding reliability and durability even under most demanding
conditions."  End quote

Also according to the brochure, the AF360FGZ flash unit has a guide number
of 36 at ISO 100/m
