Agreed. Brad's been bad - he apologized - people still don't let it go even though a lot of his posts, to me, seem fairly harmless. Bruce has maybe had a bad day, got up on the wrong side of the bed, who knows what - he's said nothing about it - I also don't see any of the same people who demanded Brad apologize demanding an apology from Bruce for using poor language or stating "kids read this list too you know".
While I tend to like everyone on this list because it does offer a wealth of information - regardless of what brand of camera you may use - and I've met some very decent people - locally and on the continental level - in person - I can't help but feel that there may be an inkling of a double standard that has been set. I'm also a forgiving guy.. so I'd like to ask that we end the thread - all of it (abortion/guns/pros/bruce) - please? I'm not going to get into it further except to say, if I had done that, there would be 15-30 posts just blasting me. When I said that four letter word Bruce did, that's what happened, and I was new, no history then. I apologized. I don't see any apologies or requests or any proper conduct messages. I know Bruce has a lot of knowledge, but he has put me down repeatedly by making fun of my last name. Being long-time members or the extremely knowledgeable doesn't excuse certain behaviours. On this topic, I have no more to say. Respectfully, Brad (William, I can understand your view, I'm not contesting it, but your post provided me with a chance to speak my mind, I hope you understand) ----- Original Message ----- From: "William Robb" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Thursday, December 12, 2002 6:47 PM Subject: Re: Bruce R > For the record, when I was having a knock down flame war with > Bruce, I was also having a problem with an MX.
