That is the big compromise. It costs me about the same amount of
money to buy shoot and process 2 or 3 4x5 sheets as an entire 24
exposure roll of the same film in 35mm.
However, when I look at a 16x20 print, and can see detail right
down to as small as I can see, and have no detail obscured by
film grain, I am happy that I didn't compromise my picture for
mere money.
