In fact Alek, I was serious. I would like to be able to use older screw mount lenses on a DSLR!

But it is important for many of us to use old manual lenses on new dslr. At least A lenses could be mounted and work like they do on MZS and PZ1p for instance.
If not I think many people abandom PEntax, since compatibility is the best feature in Pentax.

And way older Asahi-Kogaku Takumar 50mm 1:3.5? Will it work on the
DLSR with a combination of 2 adapters? I'd like to see the face of a
young Pentax engineer being asked this question... It reminds me.. a
friend of mine was at Future Shop discussing available software to
transfer "long-plays" on CD when the seller wanted to make sure my
friend understood that "it takes a special machine to play those
older records"...
