I read the story as the photographer was lazy, or tired, or had drunk too much to want to hop around getting more photos. And he simply bs***ed the guy hassling him about why he wasn't hopping around getting more photos.
But I am probably too cynical. Or too tongue in cheek -- so I see it in everyone else. Doe aka Marnie ;-)
